Hi, I’m Jeri Mallow—a life coach, salon owner, mom, wife, grandmother, and dog lover with a heart full of compassion and a deep belief that no one should ever feel alone on their journey.
For more than 34 years, I’ve been immersed in the beauty industry as a salon owner, nail technician, educator, instructor, nail academy owner, and multi-business owner. Through those years, I’ve experienced both the incredible joy of building something meaningful and the very real challenges that come with leading a team and running a business.
Salon ownership is rewarding, but it also carries a level of emotional responsibility that few people talk about. Owners are often managing staff relationships, client expectations, financial pressures, and the culture of the entire business—all while trying to protect their own energy and passion for the industry they love.
Because I’ve lived that reality myself, I understand the leadership side of salon ownership in a very personal way.
Today, I work with salon owners through private coaching, helping them navigate burnout, leadership challenges, and the transition from working in the business to confidently leading it. My goal is to help salon owners build thriving businesses without feeling like they have to carry everything alone.
I believe deeply in the power of humor, honesty, and leaning into what’s right in our lives. Through my own life experiences, I’ve learned that joy doesn’t come from having everything perfectly figured out—it comes from embracing the beautiful mess, trusting God’s plan, and taking one courageous step at a time.
3 Things you need to know about me are........
1. Family is at the center of my world.
I’ve been married to my husband Jeff for 34 years, and together we raised two amazing children who are now adults. One of the greatest joys of my life is being a grandmother and watching our family grow.
2. I’ve spent my entire career in the beauty industry.
For more than 34 years, I’ve worked as a salon owner, nail technician, educator, instructor, and nail academy owner. The beauty industry has given me incredible opportunities and shaped the work I do today supporting salon owners. My very first mentor was named Chicki and she taught me how to swear professionally. Haha!
3. I believe life should include laughter, faith, and a little bit of lake time.
My Christian faith guides my life and work, and when I’m not working with salon owners, you’ll probably find me enjoying time with family, our dogs, and anything that involves being near the water.
